MEU SUPER opens 2nd store in Angra do Heroísmo

On March 2nd, the 11th MEU SUPER store in the Azores, 2nd one on Terceira Island, is the result of the retail expansion strategy of the Bensaude Group through its company INSCO.

With a sales area of about 205 m2 (2,200 square feet), customers will be able to find, in this new MEU SUPER store, fresh quality products, Continente brand products, a fortified presence of Azorean and Açores brand products and a strong and constant promotional dynamic in all trademarks, always at the best price.

This new unit strengthens its proximity to the Terceirenses, creating another point of contact with the population of Angra do Heroísmo, thus making easy the daily shopping and access to quality products always at low prices.

Some of specialized areas will be the bakery, with bread baked at the store several hours a day, fruit and vegetables, butcher shop, and even roasted chicken for take-away.

Another of the main novelties, already being used since February 23rd, is the ability to use the Continente Card at any MEU SUPER store in the Azores Islands.

Customers of this new MEU SUPER will also be able to enjoy free WIFI in the store, as well as exclusive parking.

After the MEU SUPER store, a brand of the Sonae Group, has already proved to be a success in mainland Portugal and Madeira with more than 200 stores and creating over 1,000 jobs, INSCO, a company of the Bensaude Group, took over management of MEU SUPER stores in the Azores with the goals of solidifying a close relationship with the neighborhoods where the stores are locating, and providing the best value possible.
