INSCO - Insular de Hipermercados, a company of Bensaude Distribuição, owned by Bensaude Group, SONAE and Moagem Terceirense, accepted the challenge of the Elementary and Secondary School Armando Côrtes-Rodrigues in Vila Franca do Campo and was present with an in(formation) session on Food Safety and Quality Control.
This action, taught by Technicians Maria Cabral and Ângela Casinha - Department of Food Safety on March 8, was aimed at students of the 12th grade of the Technical course of Agricultural Production.
The interventions highlighted INSCO's position in the food chain, approval processes for suppliers of fruit, vegetables and meat (from reception to storage and exhibition), quality control of fruit and vegetables (control model, tests, evaluation).
All these issues are based on a well-defined line of action by INSCO in matters of Food Safety, appropriate to the new times of consumption and complying not only with the legislation in force, but also guaranteeing the satisfaction of its customers, who are increasingly informed and demanding in this area.
