On November 15th, Bensaude Energia promoted an Emergency Drill at the Praia da Vitória Fuel Terminal within the operational framework of its Internal Emergency Plan.
The drill was planned and executed with "No Prior Notice," in which the main objective was a Test of Emergency Response Ability, namely the Internal Organization, Intervention of the Terminal Emergency Teams and also the Coordination with the External Emergency Services.
Representatives of the Fire Department of Praia da Vitória, Police, Municipal Civil Protection Service of Praia da Vitória, Ports of Azores, Port Authority of Praia da Vitória, Local Command of the Maritime Police and the Republican National Guard were present, and all collaborated with the Regional Civil Protection and Fire Service of the Azores in how to handle the alert via 112 and the activation of the External Emergency Services.
