On October 12th, at the School of Tourism and Hotel Training (EFTH), diplomas were given to about 90 graduates from the Restaurant/Bar and Kitchen/Pastry courses, who completed their training during 2016/2017 and 2017/2018.
As a result of a 2015 protocol between the Bensaude Group and EFTH, by António Castro Freire, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bensaude Group, bestowed a merit scholarship award to Liliana Ferreira, a graduate of the Kitchen and Pastry course, who obtained the best final GPA in that School during the academic year 2017/18.
The purpose of this scholarship is to highlight merit while recognizing and valuing professions in the Tourism sector, at a time when their importance is increasing for the regional economy.
