Bencom’s terminals and fuel storage parks supply the distribution of liquid fuel (Gasoline, Diesel, Jet A-1, Fuel Oil) in 7 of the 9 islands of the Azores. The exceptions are the islands of Flores and Corvo.
Because of that, we can say that the company has a decisive role in the development of the region.
The company was founded in 1992, by the Bensaude holding. At the time, it represented a strong reinforcement of the group’s investment in the fuel sector.
Some of Bencom’s terminals and parks have ISO 9001 and 14001 certification since 2002.
